Just another old bike.....

So i bought this thing last year and just got around to working on it.

It's an Olypia Borghi definitely an older bike, a lot of cool details on it as well. I'm sure most of you can appreciate a bike like this.

It has an olympia stem, headset and chainrings. wonderful craftsmanship, amazing pearl paint job and is super durable and it just looks so stylish to me.

That is NOT just another old bike. Real beauty, and great photos as well.

Was there red fill paint in the lug windows? Looks to be a slight trace of red lug lining around the top head lug as well.

q: if zeus rode a bike, what would it look like?
a: this olympia.

q2: if zeus were to procreate with a bike ..?
a2: this. he would ride this oly in every way a greek can imagine.

here in western washington, we just ask the bartender for an 'oly' (pronounced 'ohlee'). it's a lot like rainier, bud, the high life, lone star, coors original, pearl ... tasty.

Looks like a very comfortable ride, y'know, for those times when you're just out for a ride, not riding in the peleton.

there was something in there, but i'm not sure if it was original, it cleaned out pretty easily so i can't tell if it's original or not.

The frame paint they use on these bikes are phenominal. super durable

If it rides anything like mine, it's cushy. Mine has a pretty laid-back head tube.

Details are very, very nice on this one, Andy - love the chromed head lugs and the headbadge is in fantastic shape! For that matter, so's the entire bike

Nice build, for sure! Don't take an entire year on the next beauty you have in the pipeline
