Component elegance.

A bit of boredom resulted in the combination of the Stronglight 107 outer ring paired with my last Campagnolo Record crank arm. They may not have been intended for each other, but the combination is certainly pretty:

Boredom, what's that?

Haven't you got an old car to restore? kiddin'

They do look like they go together, kind of like a pagoda stack.

It would look good if you rounded over the spiders to flow into the ring. Only worth doing on a crank that needed to be stripped and polished (or re-ano'd) though. I think a Super Record inner would look nice with that too.

My knees are hurting from just looking at that 56T chainring! Must be a rare 107 ring you have there as its the first one I've ever seen in that size. A TT specialists might want that thing right away! It could look really good on PDXaero's Gitane funny bike if he still has it......

It's what happens when you're not chasing Cinellis.

My thoughts on the spider too. Even though this arm is damaged (spindle hole only works with JIS), it's still too nice to modify.

Rare, maybe. Not sure about desirable though - I've had it sitting around in the FS forum for ages. No bites.

I don't mind looking at it though :D
