Since you are in canada the model name or year may be slightly different but if that was a US bike it would be a '85 Stelvio. nice basic entry level racer.

I think the RD is a 980 gear but I'll have to look into that one. the shifters are the 'basic' Campi NR/SR any Record shifters but they seem to be missing the backing plates that go between the shifter and the frame, and also have the stop fo the shifter on them.

I think you did pretty good for $80 you just need to et the shifters straightened out. even if you need to replace the shifters with a pair of Victory or Triomphe shifters you still did good.

Maybe I will change the shifters for a pair of Campagnolo Super Record that I've found on a Raleigh Pro Team Ti that I've bought for 20$ in a second-hand shop in Quebec City. There was also a Super Recprd RD on that Raleigh. Do you think I should put it on my Bianchi if it fits or the 980 will be as good?

unless you are planning to use the Raliegh I would not strip too much good stuff off it. cleaning and tuning it well may net you a pretty schilling or three.

I think the others will start yelling when I say this but I am not sure you will notice a huge difference in the shifting between the 980 and Super Record, since the overall design is not that different.

Ok then, I'll let the Super Record on that Raleigh. In Montreal, bikes are overpriced. Those two bikes, I bought them in Quebec City. I've seen very good deals in smaller cities. A 80's Marinoni in mint condition for 200$ or a very beautifull Colnago for 250$ both with complete Campagnolo group. But I'm looking for the perfect bike for me (if it's possible to have a perfect bike). In Montreal, I have sold one of my pink and white Fiori Modena for 350$. That would have been almost impossible to sell it for more then 150$ outside Montreal. But when there is a good deal, it's gone in a snap. RSS feed is my best friend.

I have a ladies Bianchi bike that I bought in the early to mid 90's. It's purple & mint green. Says "Brava" on the frame. I rode it very little before it went into storage where it has been all this time. Cleaning out and would like to sell. ANY clue how I figure out about how much it's worth? I paid around $500 for it new if I remember right. Where do I look for serial numbers at? I am clueless about bikes :-( I used to ride with my late husband, but he did all the buying, maintaining, etc. i don't think anything was changed on it, except the seat. It does need some work - new tires, a good cleaning, probably some new mechanic stuff. Any suggestions? Any way I can post a picture on here to show you what it looks like?

Hello Trimadsco welcome to the forums. I am pretty sure that is an '89 model year because of the Suntour GPX. steel Bianchis have a great following and this being in such good shape will sell quickly depending on where you live, and your location also effects price. there is a an actual forum here for apprasails but I would say if you coulkd air up the tires and ride that it would sell for about $200 to 250 as it sits.

I still have to found a Bennotto yellow/goldish tape for the handlebar and a pair of fitting hoods for the Modolo brake levers but it's almost done. When finished, this beauty is gonna be "as new". :)

P.S. I know my handlebar tapes' job is a mess... I'm not too good for that kind of job.

Hey, I’m looking to pick this bike up for a friend from a seller online. Trying to place the year and model, but no real information was given.
