Follis unknown, Reynolds, tell me more

So I just saw this bike on the side of the road for sale. It looks like an early 70's French bike made by Follis. The frame doesn't have nice lugs or anything, but it does have Reynolds tubing and Simplex dropouts. Can anyone tell me more about this bike? I made an offer, and it's basically mine now.

From what i can remember...
Frame - Reynolds Follis made in France
Wheels - Super champion Gentleman w/ high and low flange hubs
derailleurs - Suntour VX
Shifters - Simplex
Bars/ Stem - Belleri course
Brakes - Shimano 600
Cranks - Half Nervar, Half SR. Not funny.

Yeah, I agree and I'd buy it for less than $155, especially in Cali where you money goes...lesser. This might be a 3-main-tube 531 but probably a nice rider...if it's all 531 better yet. You're going to need to put in some time/money in clean up and etc. plus be prepared for the usual "French issues", still...I'd buy it if it fits.
Follis were made in Lyon, check out the CR page:
https://www.classicrendezvous.com/Fra...les/Follis.htm
maybe you'll find the model in that first page

I'd really like to find another Follis. I passed up a chance last year with ChicagoAl, I think. They just don't come along all that often, especially the nicer frame sets. Follis, as you'll probably find out, was known for their tandems; they made some excellent quality road singles too.

Decent bikes - my dad owned one. If you can get it for less than 150, move on it.

What in the name of holy hell is going on with that stem?

Didn't work out. The guy couldn't accept the fact that the bike needed new bar tape, tires, tubes, cables, a new crankset, new paint, and tons of labor. Before I could offer any less than $100 The guy freaked out and called me an A-hole. Whatever, it didn't seem like one of the nicer Follis with the beautiful lugs. I'm not too upset, oh well.
