I think I'm done with this one now.

Needs a test ride. I'm curious to see how the cable actuated hydraulic TRP Hy/Rd brakes perform. I wasn't able to get the Shadow Plus derailleur to play nice with the Suntour Power Thumb shifter, so I stuck an RD-M950 on there (no problems getting all 10 gears). I hope the chain stays put during rocky descents.

I'm glad you folks like it. I picked up the bike on Craigslist a few weeks ago. This was one of the vintage mountain bikes I was looking for as it has all the braze-ons including the mid-fork rack mount plus, it's a Fisher with quad-butted tubes. I plan to use it for mixed surface and light offroad touring. The drivetrain is stock with the exception of the added 7 speed bar-end shifters I picked up on eBay. The 1-1/4" threaded fork presented some challenges to find a good solution to shorten the reach and raise the bars. I used a Nitto 1-1/4" column with a 1-1/8" threadless extender. That gave me the option to raise the bars and use whatever threadless stem worked best to dial in the fit. The bars are Nitto Dirt Drops (RM013) and I added a Selle Anatomica saddle. The rack is a Topeak Super Tourist DX and the fenders are SKS P65 Longboards. I'll ride it as-is for now but I plan to build up a set of wheels for it and possibly update it to a more modern 8 or 9 speed drivetrain.

@simmonsgc - you could make $$ selling those spacers. I've got a drop bar conversion that I love riding, but hate the looks of so much of my dirt drop stem showing. Like your bike too.
I've been working on my 1955 Phillips 3 speed and am pretty much done. So now that my wheel truing skills have improved (I made my first set of wheels for the Phillips), I decided to true the wheels on my '88 Rockhopper. They were "off" quite a bit with the tension, but they're good now. I went for a brief ride around my neighborhood and, damn, that bike sure is fun to ride. Stealthy, quiet, nimble but not twitchy. I came home with a big smile!

A longtime customer made me an offer I could not refuse so he will be picking up the Moulden this weekend and will be using it for some credit card touring in Asia... he was struck by the lightness of the bike and normally tours on a custom built Thorn or a Bruce Gordon but wanted to travel light.
With that and the fact my partner (Arvon Stacey) has decided to retire I decided I need another Arvon (we have a custom tandem)... I will use Arvon hubs for the wheels and custom Arvon parts like the LD stem and will roll the fattest tyres I can fit and a drop bar (of course).
I also know where that 8 speed XTR group is gonna go.
Now it's just what frame to keep and build...

I'm close to picking up an 86 Bridgestone MB-2. I am contemplating(and about 99%sure) that I am going to put a bunch of XT and moustache bars on it. A poor mans XO-3, since I still miss mine 5 years later.,,,,BD

Your Raleigh turned out awesome.
Here's how it looked originally (poor pic mind you)

Digging all the other bikes coming out too.

4Funbikes, that's pretty cool.
When I started doing homework on this frame (when I found the ebay auction), I found your posts on the Raleigh and I knew I had to have it.
Do you still have the bike? I noticed the coincidence of your home state matching the seller's home state (per the auction). Wouldn't it be something if it was the same frame?
I'm going to ride it tomorrow on my "go-to" fire road trail. About 4 miles up, lots of rocks, and hopefully lots of fun coming down. I may even launch myself off a few rocks to see how she flies.

It is indeed your bike. When I saw your first picture I had a sneaking suspicion it was the one I sold.
FWIW, and as I'm sure you've noticed, that bike was ridden very little.
All the components were in exceptional condition. Good buy on that.
