Raleigh Team Pro Decals - Vector Graphics? Anyone?

This might be a bit of a longshot, but I'm curious if any forum members have come across vector artwork (.eps, .pdf, .ai, etc) for raleigh team pro decals. As I have access to a vinyl printer / cutter, I would like to try to make my own.

It will be for a '78 european team record, similar to this one on ebay, but with a black headtube. Luckily the downtube decal is in the best shape of any, so it will most likely stay in place.

I should have known I wouldn't get any responses without posting pictures. haha. Unfortunately as this is a work in progress, I haven't shot any nice photos. Here's a horrible, non-drive side iphone photo of her.

Thanks for the link. There are a few sellers that have the decals.. As I have access to a vinyl printer and cutter, I was hoping someone may have already made a vector graphic from the decals.

I did find a version on the Raleigh Team Pro yahoo group, but it wasn't quite perfect.

I know I'm dreaming right now, but I thought it was worth a try.

If it's an imperfect vector, I can try my hand at editing it.

Hi Kurt,

Below is a raster version of the vector graphic from the Yahoo group. It's not bad, but it looks like it was probably done using an automated raster to vector conversion. As such, the letters are a little curvaceous at times. Maybe its me being a perfectist, because now that I see it as this scale it doesn't look that bad.

I will submit the .eps to your email contact on the Headbadge. I wouldn't spend much time on it, unless you see yourself using it in the future. I am capable of tracing it myself, but I just don't have the time right now (I'm not that quick in illustrator).

Jeff, there's a possibility the ink of the original varnish fix (or water transfer) ink-based decals were the cause of the messy look - in which case, I'd be tempted to leave the look for vinyl decals.

I'll see what I can do, regardless.

problem I would see doing these as plotter-cut vinyl is that all those black "inlines" and outlines (strokes) are going to be very fiddly: the logical approach would be to overlay the yellow on the black, but I sure wouldn't like to apply these vinyl letters if done like that. This would be a very simple 2-color printing job...but I appreciate your wanting to DIY since you have the tool and supplies on-hand.
Having prepared artwork before (using Illustrator and a complete re-draw) it sure helps to have the original decal (or at least good pix) alongside to compare your artwork with, otherwise you're just guessing at accuracy.
EDIT: Oopps, I read your post wrong: I thought you were going to do this all as cut PSA vinyl, but you say you can print as well as cut. What machine is it?
