modolo professional brake pads??

Hi Everyone, I am getting ready to build a pogliaghi and have the brake set minus pads. I am wondering if these pads fit the brake set pictured. Thanks, John

I thought most of those Modolo sidepulls came with the hard sintered brake pads. More people hated them than liked them because many noticed they were harsher on their rim braking surfaces. I think the original pads were rounded on one end and square on the other, but it does look like the brakeset on the pic has the same shape and black color as those pads you are showing so it looks like they will work

Those pads mounted on the calipers don't look like the sintered ones to me.

I hated the sintered pads because they always melted on my anodized rims and made a rough noise.

They should fit your holders just fine. If you can find the Campi brake blocks from about '91 to '95ish before everything went lowprofile they would fit too.

It doesn't look as nice, or atleast I don't take the time to make them look nice, but the Campi style KoolStops will work too.

I agree those Sintered pads were a diaster!

nice lookig brakes.

those are the earlier (pre sintered) rubber pads that are rounded on both ends. They will fit the holders pictured. Sintered pads will too but they won't look right and...they will be super abrasive.
If anybody wants some NOS sintered pads (and wants to pay me some $$$) send me a PM ;)

I'd really like to see it when your build is done, love the Pogliaghi's. Plus if you look here http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Ita...iaghi_main.htm you will see some really nice examples.

I ordered a BB yesterday. The fork goes out when the BB gets here to get cut down.

I really like the color, what's the serial number of the frame? Just curios about the year it was made.
