Well, that's the problem.... I am responsible for her now that her family has been turned into bar wrap.

I love that your daughter is enjoying these rides! I'll be emailing you for some tips on trailers later.
I've found the Avocet Touring saddles really comfortable as well, it's just that a Brooks feels just as good and looks a lot better. Still, I wish I hadn't given my old Avocet away.

That saddle is actually an avocet look alike. It's one of the other brands, Selle San Marco or one of those.

I'll be interested in seeing how the elk hide looks after you put a lot of miles on it. I've been interested in the stuff myself.
As for trailers, I use a Burley Solo for my daughter and it's been a great trailer. Turns and rides very smoothly, has never come close to tipping, has a neat little brake to use when stopped, has a side pouch inside to hold snacks and/or a drink for the kiddo, and has room in the back for extra things you might carry. It also seems very weather resistant and keeps my daughter nice and dry as well as having a sunshade.

Well, i'm not sure if i'll be putting it to the test really. I don't plan on riding the Lotus in rain or snow since it's in really nice shape. My Mercian gets ridden in the rain and has a grab bag of easily replaced parts, so it'll probably keep getting used the most. The Lotus will get out for Sunny days.
