For real. It came up on the bay about a year ago for a couple of dollars iirc. I decided I had enough stuff and let it go.

Hello Lenton and sorry for the delay

Thanks. Steel frame, unlike my aluminum 979. Interesting, especially the rear DO's, which may be the only Vitus thing about it?? The glimpse of the head badge looks like nothing I recall seeing on a Vitus. Indeed Vitus made tubing, but I am not knowledgable enough to say whether it was purely a proprietary product, or if it was available to other constructors.

Breezer Bikes made a special presentation bike for Pope Francis. Hard to top the special head badge made for the Pontiff.

Not as beautiful or unique as many others in this thread but an interesting pinkish hue.

Mercury Cycle. Obscure. Can you guess where it is from?

They have not been made for a while.

Made in England for export, just like bicycles from Japan and Taiwan. Not sold in England, as far as I know.

By "where it is from" , I mean where were these sold.
