spoke replaced, wheel trued...now the rim is squeaky

I had a spoke replaced, and the LBS mechanic said that the rim was a little warped. It's got some life in it yet, though. He said the brakes would probably make some noise now, and they did, so I re-toed in the brake pads but they still squeal a little bit. Is this just the way its going to be? Any remedy?
Thanks

Does the wheel have a flat spot or hop to it when you spin it? May be time to think of a new wheel or relace with a new rim.

Could be some contamination on the rim too. You should be able to fix that with some acetone/rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab, or a fine grit sandpaper around the brake track..

I have been thinking about new rims and reading/posting in recent threads about rim choice. It has a tiny hop.

Sometimes you can eliminate the squeal by oiling the pads, and it won't reduce braking power.
