Gabilier frame

Hello, does anyone know a frame manufacturer called GABILIER please ? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

"GABILIER"? I never heard of the brand (yet?). Are you sure it does not say ""GALIBIER""? As Peugeot named one of their bikes in the mid 80's after the famous TDF climb, "Col de Galibier".

I'm pretty sure It's Galibier? From what I remember the framesets were crazy different. Galibier was also a famous climbing boot manufacture, probably had nothing to do with bicycles though.

Cheers,
Chris

Yes, sounds like he's talking about the Paris Galibier. Paris Cycle Co. was an English manufacturer (http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Bri...blier_main.htm). I used to have one that needed repainting, but I never got around to building it up before selling it. It was a heavy frame. Condor Cycles sells a repro Paris Galibier that's probably a lot lighter.

Hello, yes I got it wrong, the name is Galibier and I'm told that it has a peculiar seat bolt arrangement.
