Seat bag for Raleigh Sports

Please help, I'd like to find one of the larger seat bags for my Raleigh Sports. I'd really love to have a Brooks, but that's a little too much money at this time. I have a cap of around $100.00 though. I'd like something that, at least, kinda looks appropriate on a Raleigh 3-spd. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

What do you mean by "larger"? The standard one --that actually was standard equipment on these once upon a time-- is about the size of a gallon jug. They are made of a black leatherette vinyl and are remarkably durable, though the straps have to be replaced every 40 years or so. If that's what you want, contact me, I think I have an extra. If you want one bigger than that, you have to keep an eye on ebay. They are out there and you can often pick one up well within your price range; though of course there is no guarantee of the condition.

This might be a Brooks, mislabled..or not. Anyway, it's vitage and would look killer on your bike...has no bidders...less than 1 day left....easy for under $100.

I'm thinking it's not a Brooks. It looks like those NOS Asian ones that my LBS had sitting around. They were ok bags, but the buckles were pretty crummy and look like the one in the auction. Still, it's appropriate and the price is ok.

Just between you and me. I got a great vintage leather saddle bag (smaller one than the Raleigh stock one) with a vintage monkey bone tool and another multi-wrench off of etsy.com. (search vintage saddlebag) for about $40.00. Lots of good stuff there, but don't tell anyone. They also have a lot of people that make em and are willing to do custom work as well.

I made a small one for a couple of wrenches, tire tool and patch kit out of a $1 Thrift store chain wallet and a couple of straps I had laying around.

Carradice bags look nice on the Raleigh and come in a variety of sizes and prices.

Thanks for the info guys! I found what I was looking for though... a Pletscher rack and a Schwinn saddlebag. Also added new tires and had it re-cabled. It has S3C coaster brake hub with a 20T cog. As pictured it weighs 38lbs. I still have to add my black B66 Brooks.

Thanks for the little bug crawling across my screen. Been trying to squash that thing ever since I opened this thread.
