Who took this photo of Eddy Merckx?

I wonder who took this classic photo of Eddy Merckx?
It's really hard to find any information about it on the net. But someone might find it or has got a Merckx book with references. It would be fantastic to see the full photo with the complete bike.

Great question - I wish I knew the answer. I wonder what Eddy was thinking?

Yes roadbikes with tight geometry (criterium?) has attractive looks.

But who took the photo? What's the name of the photographer?

I don't think so, he is notably posing and the bike is correctly adjusted to look good in a photo.
