Since the tires were not special in any way, I'm guessing they were filled with solid tubes such as these..Amazon.com : Bell Solid Tube NoMorFlat Bicycle Inner Tire Tube 26 x 1.75-1.95 : Bike Tubes : Sports & Outdoors
