Not C&V, but a lowball bid bought me a BNIB Velocity Helios <1500g wheelset.
The CX-Ray spokes would cost me more than I paid for the wheelset.
The Miele was going to be a little bit of a beater/rain bike, etc. Now I've unexpectedly upgraded; and I'm not really sure where to head now.

Got a set of collet wrenches for my router. Which means I can make my wall bicycle tool cabinet. Which means I'll get all the tools & supplies under control. Then I can start working on the Continental without stepping on my procreative organ.

I received an early Christmas present from GlennFordx4 this week. A box full of parts I need to help me piece together my new projects to get back on the road. I have my Alpinestars AL Mega DX frame off CL, that will be my Schwinn Crosscut replacement. And currently, the Bianchi Premio project that is rushed to completion for next month's group ride in PHX. (Drillium Dude and kvltBryce and hopefully others). Still need a few items to make her work and fit. Search is on.
A special THANK YOU goes out to C&V members Glenn and Bryce for their generosity. Really boosted my spirits! :_)

I got 6 rolls of bar tape, 22 assorted baculum (penis bones), a medical model human skull, an armadillo made into a purse and a monkey Wubbanub (a pacifier with a soft toy attached), but not the tires I am deseratley waiting for.
I am shipping some Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates, a real human arm and a 1981 Coleco Pac-Man game.

I finally talked myself into a BB facer and then they ran a sale on the shimano pedals... I am now in search of some Vittoria '76's in a 46 so I can dump the Looks. The campy tool is for the one set of power torques I have.
I missed the auction on some Detto's... grrrr.

Received a Christmas card from a former boss and this came with it. Some really cool bikes in it.

This came yesterday.
An NOS Wright's W3N saddle, A78 stamped on bottom, so I am guessing Jan 1978? It's bloody perfect and hard as a rock...a curable condition.
This was an eBay buy, the seller told me he has 10 more but will sell them off as a lot and not individually. Another one just sold to someone else. Search eBay for seller echo_delta...it's not me, and I have no other interest except letting y'all know that there's a bunch of good vintage saddles out there.

And today, this...

In original box, with wrench, seat cover, papers, etc. This goes on the Colnago so I can save the original Selle Italia Turbo. The Wrights (above) goes on the Raleigh Competition.
This is sooo much cheaper than working on cars. And better people too.
