A Fabric Flat Race Saddle with C.F. rails that I didn't realize I had ordered. I just wanted to try the flat version of these saddles and didn't realize at the low price it was the C.F. railed one. Hmmm so now I need to get the proper clamps for the Thomson Seatpost I guess.
Should make for a nice final touch on this one. The black top, white bottom, should bring this build together.

Okay, I'm curious. A few years ago I built a wheel for my Bianchi with a Shutter Precision SV8 so I could commute into the dark months. I've been very happy with it. But I really know little about the options for hubs except what minimal specs or reviews are available. When you get a chance and have developed opinions I'd like to know how those compare, whether you can tell an difference between them.

It's hard to stay unbiased, but from what I've read of the H27, I'll expect it to be heavier (it weighs 564g without skewer, 627g with) and a little draggier. We'll see if it's something I can perceive while riding, though.
The H27 is a full 3W, so in theory it should produce light down to lower speeds than the 2.4W SV8. I don't plan to run a dyno taillight with either setup.
I still need to buy a light and the connector (oops, why didn't I do that with the hub??) but I will definitely post my updates to the H27 thread in the Electronics/Lighting/Gadgets subforum: Anyone use the Sanyo H27 dynamo hub? Inputs please!

A 1989 Cannondale ST600. I haven't even opened the box yet, just too much going on today.
