Some of those Stella Artois ads are pretty good, and I dig that clean water drive. I only wish I liked the beer more.

New Origin8 Saddle for the '74 Motobecane Grand Touring to replace the original that started disintegrating when I started to ride it again. I'll go with this cheap-ish one until I decide what I really want to sit on.

Another B&M Eyc, this one for my fixed-gear/primary commuting bike, from bike24.de. And a 13T non-Dura Ace Uniglide first position cog, from Loose Screws. Why Uniglide? Because the NOS Tricolor rear hub (post #4154) I plan to use in my next wheel is Uniglide, and I thought, "eh, why not just run it as Uniglide for a while before swapping to an HG freehub body?"

Campagnolo 10sp, downtube shifters, IRD Defiant BB, Rene Herse Triple, Compass Centerpulls, front rack and decaluer, tubus racks front and rear, Nitto Noodle bar, stem and seat post, Brooks C17 or 15 (not sure which one yet - will try out both), MKS RX1 pedals, Velo orange 50mm Zeppelin fenders, Red Leather Handlebra Tape, Cane Creek SCR5 brake levers and 110 Classic Headset..
It's designed to fit a 38mm 700c tire with fenders...
Paint scheme was inspired by Southpawboston's Mercian
A mix of old and new. Yes, that sounds super nice.
That Rene Hearse crankset and the Compass centerpull combo will be showstoppers.
All in all, sounds like a beautiful pack mule you are building up.
Will be a joy to tour with I'd wager.
What are you using for bags? We use Madden, Ortlieb and some Swift bags. They all seem to be bulletproof.
FWIW I have a fairly interesting rebuild coming up this fall with my Bilenky frameset as the center of a mostly Shimano XT build. Haven't settled on a crankset yet, but the Hearse and a White Industries are both in the running. We have a fly fishing trip planned for next summer.

It has a certain charm. Many options/braze-ons.
Nicest touring frameset I've owned, that's for sure.
FWIW My wife uses a boxy rando on her MAP.
That and the Swift Ozette are our favorites, for sure.

I've posted elsewhere about how that cheap FoxEye light was barely enough on its inaugural ride. I'm thinking the Eyc will do the job better.

Me too! I've got B&M lights on two bikes plus the tandem, similar models. I can't remember the names unless I look them up, because they make no sense, somethign like ICYQ or whatever. On my night commutes I augment it with a L&M battery light running on its low setting, more light output than the B&M, I think, but less controlled.

@jimmuller, agreed. B&M model names are nonsensical to this American brain. Eyc is easier to remember because they say it's pronounced like Ike.

Got a classic Sturmey Archer drum brake freewheel combo, not sure what the exact model is.
It has a nice Suntour freewheel, the brakes still feel pretty grabby but I only just realized it might be tricky to get the freewheel off and relace it into a new wheel...
Ah well, I'll try soon and if it doesn't work it is still a nice rare piece that I got for just a few bucks.
EDIT: It does have the classic "clip in" holes on the freewheel side.
