A Cinelli XA stem that I purchased from Andy K. The XAs are my first favorite stem. My Konno built Allez came to me with a stem that was 10mm too short for my liking and I've been looking for a 120mm XA for some time. Mr. Kaylor came to the rescue!

Dean

Y Konno built Allez with it's new stem! Paint/decals will look odd to folks who know these bikes. It is wearing a CyclArt repaint added by the prior owner.

The woodstove (homebuilt with Paper Mill scrap) is my link to sanity in the winter months.

Nice!! Got a full bike pic to share?

Also, that stem has now been on a '73 De Rosa and a Konno-built Allez (both with CyclArt reprints). It's living right!

My 75 year old father found the original Zefal HP pump from his '74 Motobecane Grand Touring I just resurrected. It had been stored inside for the last 35 years and still works great. He surprised me by shipping it over and I received it yesterday.

Cheers

@camjr, that is a damned good pump. And you can still buy one. It's my favorite frame pump.

This week I received a good-as-new 3TTT "Synthesis" stem (90mm reach) and a new Soma "Hwy One" (44mm) bar.

I installed them today, and enjoyed a nice test ride. Happy!

Picked up some 50s/60s Balilla brake levers for my Frejus at Cycle Smithy here in Chicago. Fropped them in Evapo-Rust overnight to clean up the surface rust on the steel springs. Still waiting for a seatpost bolt from Mike Fraysse and a longer seatpost from someone else on eBay.

That Acorn Tall Rando Bag is the coolest thing I have ever purchased in regards to bike gear. Really high quality, and feels like it will last forever. I would love to pick up some more of their stuff!

Yeah. I'm not convinced the water is handmade though. They probably just re-brand what they get from the city.

I'm a sucker for esoteric bikes....and I believe that this late 70s (?) Kondor San Remo is my most esoteric yet. Kondor was a German company which was started by opera singer and racing fan Konrad Kotter sometime in the 70s. He purchased frames from Italy which were shipped bare to Germany where they were painted and components installed. Around 1982 the company went bankrupt and the new iteration labeled the bikes as 'Kotter', so that at least dates this to no later than '82.

I bet you'll love that Acorn. My wife has one on her MAP and it's a winner.
