So, this came to my post today. Rather large package for content of this size. But, it's still not the main thing I'm waiting for. Bigger package should arrive next week

Snagged one more of my favorite headsets last week and it just came in the mail from the UK!

Not just another new A9, but the original design with needle bearings which are getting harder and harder to find in this NOS condition.
Got it for a bargain price, about the same as the new cartridge bearing style A9!
I was not advertised as a needle bearing A9 and no pics of the internals were posted in the BIN auction, but I recognized the rounder domed top locknut that the older A9s had, on it and the slightly different profiles of the top and bottom bearing cups from the new version. Wasn't 100% sure about it till it got to me today and I saw the needle bearing in it.

This weekend's mail brought a cap, some gloves, and a phone mount. The gloves are labeled XL, but they're hard to put on.

Yesterday, my first B72 (will try it on my Dawes Galaxy which I plan to keep in upgright configuration):

Today, a SunTour Seven GT (also for my Dawes, but alas, was advertised as a V-GT) and manettes vitesses for my PX-10:

I think the derailleur would give a Campy Gran Turismo a run for its money weight-wise. Still, it's NOS and slant parallelogram, and will shift better than the ancient Simplex derailleur.

Yesterday's mail brought me a derailleur hanger adjustment tool and the Park Tools book on bike repair. I enjoy and am grateful for online bike repair videos, but there's something about a book that videos can't replace.
In addition to referring to the book for specific instruction, I plan to read it straight through, like a novel. I first did that as a teenager and my first car and John Muir's famous book "How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive For The Compleat Idiot", in which the author suggested doing exactly that.

Yesterday's mail brought me five hard drives: three internal and two external. I'm building a big file server for home.
I can't post an image because bikeforums isn't playing nicely, but eh, they look like hard drives.

This package was delivered a couple weeks ago. However, it was the same day I wound up in the hospital for surgery on a broken leg and I'm just opening the package today (forgot to even ask the wife about the package). $35 + shipping for the pair.
It's still going to be at least a couple few months before I can use these, but I have something to look forward to in the meantime.
