I got a new Garmin mount today. Trouble is, I ordered 3 pcs, and only got 1. I've accumulated a couple "new" vintage bikes and tired of changing the Garmin mount from bike to bike. These use o-rings, and I didn't want to keep stretching them each time I swap them over. Now I need to find out where the other 2 are.

New light as the light field on the B+M IQ-XS @70 lux is good but not as even as the B+M Cyo Premium @80 lux. B+M's own website shows an IMHO correct comparison.
Let's see how the 100 lux of the B+M IQ-X stacks up.

I opted for the SP dynamo with centerlock even though I am using rim brakes because I think the rim brake version looks weird and is pretty much the exact same size. The red ring is a SON centerlock cover though it seems like it needs a bit of grinding to fit.

All that is left now is the rim!
i have tbe weird looking rim brake version in silver. Great hub!

I was a bit worried about not being able to service the hub myself but then again, I have a Shimano hub that I probably could service but is still running fine after ~40.000+ km (~25,000 miles). At the very least it is small and good looking.

i have several low end shinano dynamos and have never serviced any of them. They just keep running. Actually they get smoother with time. I bought tbe sp because i wanted to be good to myself. The dynamo i have the most miles on is a Panasonic i got for 40.00. It still works great.

From @jeux jambes

A nice pile of parts from a trade! A couple surprise extra too! Package even came a day early. Most of these items have already joined others in their respective project piles.

Great stuff Matt!

Today I got in the old bar tape I took a chance on. Wasn't sure it was going to be the right shade of green. But, comparing it against the old it looks like the exact same tape. Same color and same texture.

Now I can finally finish up this beautiful ol' Eddy Marten's built bike and finally get a test ride in.

1976 Cecil Walker track frame, probably built by George McDonald. To be turned into a thing of beauty once more.

They've always been available via Merlin, Ribble or Pro Bike Kit when I've needed them.

@3speedslow, I have two of those seat bags. I love them. I have one for each of our homes. I move it onto whichever bike I'm about to ride. It has tube repair stuff and tools for adjusting handlebars and saddle and a little miscellany. I rarely open it. I clip a tail light to the back. It may be ugly, but it's very practical.

Another early package? USPS is killing it lately! Those levers are definitely slick looking. Do you have a specific bike in mind for them?

@deux jambes

The shifters and FD are for the Gios im building up with a SR group. I want the bike to have silver and black so the shifters were perfect. And since SR has hints of black it helps alot.

Shifter comparison

I feel like those levers are perfect for a SR group just for that reason. The Gios is looking good! Itís gonna be one sharp bike when finished.

Sometimes mail travels so slow, you forget itís on the way. This cable housing looks worth the wait, and should pair up nicely with a set of Campy bar end shifters. Thanks for the recommendation Van! @merziac

And sometimes the mail is Mighty quick! The crankset looks fantastic Dale. Thank you kindly. Iíll be reversing the single speed conversion on my Gary Hale by setting it up with this classic crank, early Superbe derailleurs, and a 6 speed Winner Pro. @dweenk
