LD-2050 levers. I love shift levers that have a slim profile. The matching derailleurs should arrive just after the weekend.
It wasn’t exactly easy “downgrading” plans to rebuild with a Campy Record group. But with the Mighty Competition crank that arrived yesterday, Superbe levers today, and SunTour’s top tier mechs soon... I think I’m getting over it already.

Skewers!
2 sets of green hex skewers. Less than 20.00 shipped. I love these things. I'm never in a race, they weigh less than quick releases and they slow down a casual wheel thief.

Needs list for the Eisentraut is getting smaller finally!
70 bucks total well spent. Found the panniers on FB marketplace. Shipped down from Washington. And the Record hubs courtesy of one of our own (thank you kindly sir). @Steve Whitlatch

Here's what I found when I got home last night:

As far as I can tell, these have never been installed. They are complete with the original (galvanized?) cables and (one of) the metal housing pieces. When I took them out of the (somewhat yellowed!) plastic pouch, neither lever would move in either direction. I spent a few minutes soaking them in degreaser, penetrating lube, WD-40, etc, and removing the covers to get the cleaners inside, and now they click in one direction, and move more or less freely in the other. They probably need to be completely disassembled, washed and lubed, but I'm not clear what to lube, and what to keep clean. Anyone know? (I did search for information here, but I guess that I don't know how to search in BikeForums, because searching for Suntour Power Shift turns up scores of completely unrelated threads.)

Most expensive crank bolts ive ever purchased $18.
I needed "innie" bolts to properly install the campy dust caps.
The "outie" bolts weren't working.

Couple cans of Frame Saver, via slow ground shipping, the day after I finally conclude that perhaps Fluid Film might be a better choice. I blame this thread: https://forums.mtbr.com/fat-bikes/an...t-1073581.html
At least it’s available locally so I won’t have time to change my mind again. 🙄
