You'll have to take my word for it, lol! I don't have enough posts to be able to post pictures. FYI, I accidentally 'clanged' the threaded portion fork against the down tube of the Arena frame, causing a small scratch, today... just to get a picture... that I can't post. *GRRRRRRR*
You should hit the threshold pretty quickly if you participate in one or two other threads. There is at least one introductions thread:
https://www.bikeforums.net/introductions/
Also a "where'd you ride?" thread:
Where'd You Ride Today? (New & Improved)
and if you skim the C&V "front page":
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/
I imagine you'll find something which interests you enough to respond.

Oury grips came for me today
Hadn't heard of them but spotted some on a bike recently. Was considering ODI too.

I have them on the Merz and my KZ 1000 dragbike right now.
They work great and I love the aesthetic.

I got a 1979 Mercian Campionissimo frame set delivered from an Ebay UK seller. I assumed it wouldn't show up for many days yet so was surprised to see the box when I got home!
The paint is rough, but the frame is structurally perfect as far as I can tell. I'm really excited and will be having it powder coated then rather extravagantly pin striped. It's full DB 531 tubing and is very nicely made - it's really in another league compared to my 1970s Carlton Raleighs!

I got a Sunding heart rate monitor from aliexpress for $12.52. I have bought a few Sunding wired bike computers, and they have worked flawlessly, so this is worth a try.

My doc is bugging me to start taking a statin (been bugging me off-and-on for about ten years). I figured a bit more self-quantification couldn't be a bad thing here and went ahead and purchased a Mangene HRM from eBay (AliExpress kind of gives me pause - at least with eBay I can yank my $$ back via PayPal/eBay if necessary).
