I've never seen that ball ring spanner! Very cool, though a hammer and punch work fine.
I've recently gotten some trouser bands. These are fantastic. They are wide, reflective, and elastic. $11 for four bands.

I also got an accessory mount. I'm excited. Eventually, I might be able to move my headlight and phone mount together from bike to bike. I tried putting it on this morning and realized it's not a quick job, so I deferred it.

A box of stuff I'd ordered, among which two things that are of particular interest.
One is set of vintage-looking pedals. I like MKS Sylvan Touring pedals, but these are a lot cheaper, and the reflectors look to be easily removable. In hand, they look and feel the part, so I'm keen to find out how they hold up.
The other is bar tape. Cheap stuff that I've tested in the brown version on a couple of bikes, and in different weather conditions, and really, really like it. The black version has been out of stock for quite a while, but when I got an e-mail saying it was available again, I wasted little time and ordered a few sets, as well as stocking up on the brown.

This is what the tape looks like after a couple of months:

SunRace 7-speed 11-28 cassette. Chromed, better packaging than my last few SunRace freewheels. SunRace usually shift more crisply and run quieter for me than Suntour and Shimano.
Haven't decided yet which bike this goes on. Probably the '93 Trekenstein 5900. Nothing wrong with the Shimano 13-28 on it now, but I'm considering switching from 52/42 Biopace chainrings to conventional 50/39. The 11T small cog would be better on some fast downhills.
Depends on whether I like the gear steps.
SunRace 7 speed 11-28 cassette. Clever minimalist packaging nicely supports the cassette for shipping. Nicer than the old SunRace freewheels packaging.

I just received a new batch of these light-up ankle bands. Unfortunately, they're not elastic. So I wear an elastic band on my right leg for comfort and a light-up band on my left leg for safety. $2 is a great value. I've had these for a while and stocked up to give them out as gifts.

I had a Pinarello jersey stolen from my letter box. I was pretty upset about it, to be honest. They don’t come up for sale much and it was from a fellow enthusiast. I can only imagine the thief’s disappointment when they opened the parcel and found a cycling jersey. The good news is I did eventually find another one, but had to pay twice as much for it!
Anyway, this landed on my doorstep today:

Treviso-Pinarello is an emotional stage in the 2012 Giro. Dedicated to Andrea Pinarello and the city of Treviso, home of the Pinarello family. This jersey celebrates an important city in the world of cycling and one of the most respected families of the Italian cycling tradition.

No. The bars are alloy cruiser bars with the ends cut down. Then I just added some longer old school bar ends. Lots of stem and adjustment options since the bar ends can move or be taken off. And since everything is aluminum (vs. steel) it ends up being lighter. I put the shifters below the bars to free up the top side for resting my arms. Here's a photo before I put some bar tape on.

@2cam16 Sweet jersey i was looking to buy one of those but all that pops up is M or S.
This arrived today. Packing was ok and the seller could've wiped it down at least.
