From Echo. A minty fresh Brooks B17 Narrow Imperial saddle.....
My first ever Brooks saddle. It replaced an early 90's saddle that was on my 70's project bike. Now things look correct and much more classier in the saddle department on the bike, plus maybe this Imperial will be much more comfortable after it fully breaks in.

Yes, it's actually slightly tilted up already, at least compared to my other saddles on my other bikes which are pretty much dead flat.

I've ridden my std imperial more than any other leather saddles that I have owned. I goofed around with the positioning, what seemed like a lifetime. Forward, back, up down.... never ceasing. Anyway, I actually settled with it nearly dead level, YMMV. Mine is laced tightly in the sides and i'd say it took nearly 1,000 miles to show signs up breaking in. I view that as a very good thing. It's a great saddle, I want more!

Actually, I used the manual handle last night for two pots of coffee. It wasn't the massive amount of effort that I expected and was nice and quiet.... that's valuable when your toddler's bedroom isn't far from the kitchen!

And a 1" threaded stem for my Mercier Kilo TT. Oddball size but I happened across this nice Ritchey 1" stem on the 'bay for $4.99 BIN that matched the seatpost I was already using!
...and it works with 25.4 & 26.0 h-bars
perfect match for the 26.8 seatpost I picked up for this bike a while back. So nice when things work out like that.
