Thank you JohnDThompson and others for providing contact info for Rudi Mayr. I’ve been in contact with him to have him fabricate a white leather Brooks Team Pro style saddle with copper rivets for my 85 Specialized Allez SE that will have white Specialized handlebar tape.

Had a neighbour pick up a 1993 Koga-Miyata WorldTraveller in a 66cm size for €30.
The top tube looked pretty bad with with child carrier on it but it turned out okay.
There is a bit of a dent on there but I think I can fix it without damaging the paint too much.

The saddle is an Idéale 70. Not much info on these, but this one has seen very little use and looks gorgeous. The Nervar (631? 633?) cranks are a bit of a left field - and pretty, I might add - alternative to the Stronglight 49D or TA "5 vis" cranks.

Pair of Gipiemme 716 tubular wheels in almost like new shape. Was a no brainer, so I thought "Happy belated 40th" for my Alan - was in Spetember -, I guess will look cool.
Never had tubulars, never wanted them either, but these look so good, that I rather set my feet on new ground, than never have something like this.

Today I got in a sweet Mavic Starfish Crank. Looks better than the picture shows. Has clear film over both arms. Have a Mavic FD and the BB for this so now to decide the rest of the build.

Yes the are. with mobile photos the perspective gets really distorted from close-up. I have no 700/650 lo pro. have normal road bikes and the "Tiny EGOist" which is a low rider 650/650 but that still needs a FIR Aria front. Would be awesome if my Alan would be low pro...but they are like hens teeth.
