Got in a shipment of tires and tubes yesterday. GP5000s 700 x 25 wit Vittoria Latex tubes for the Master Extra Light. And then the same tires size 700 x 32 with butyl tubes to hopefully plus up the tire volume on the Holdsworth Professional.

Just arrived, a Campagnolo Euclid RD, looks to be in great shape; this is for my (see C&V topic) project to electric-shift a Nuovo Record, as a back-up plan in case the Nuovo Record does not work out: EUCLID

Got my VO sale shipment of Tourist bars, levers, grips, cable adjusters, patch kits and some pedal spacer washers. The cockpit stuff is intended for my too-small 71 PX10 to enable guest biking.

Japan's Bicycle Guide, volume 1.

Good reference book for finding who the Japanese component and bicycle manufacturers were. Also who the export companies were that foreign customers had to work through.

"Get a grip", I said to myself in mid-August, as I pondered all the bikes I'd probably be fixing up this fall, most of which would have grips long ago annihilated by the ravages of sun and time.
An eBay search turned up a plethora of grips for less than $2 per pair, with free shipping. But with delivery dates in October. I ordered 'em anyway.
And they showed up more than a month ahead of schedule. Good timing.

(looks at pile in full Gollum mode)
As I went through my Box O' Hoarded Grips and forced myself to place some in piles for deserving nonprofits, I found at the bottom about 12 pairs of classic foam grips in lively colors that I'd purchased for pennies on the dollar during the Great Scooter Glut around the turn of the millennium. And they were still in great squishy shape. I know I need to start swapping out some of my well-worn grips soon, but I still need to get over my "use it until it falls off" mentality (even on my good bikes) and just get a grip on the fact I may have enough in the colors I want to last me for a standard remaining lifetime.
Maybe. (looks at grips again furtively...)

Ordered these pads and the next day the bike I ordered them for had a bead let go on the rear tire. It was a bad break, but once I get the replacement tire next week, I'll have good brakes.

Custom extended Cinelli stem. Think of a mix between a steel Cinelli stem and a Nitto Technomic.

Appears to be internally reinforced, so it is extra heavy, but can get me just a little bit of height on a bike that is borderline too small. I cannot wait until people start telling me my stem isn't inserted far enough.

I'm pretty sure I bought it from Ron Boi, via Ebay.

Yep OP's BS, all part of the fun.

I would not call it BS. In most cases, I imagine other people trying to be helpful. I've not had a stem fail on me, but I did fail to properly tighten my handlebar bolt once. It made for a frightening situation.

TDC Continental Italia headset in 25x1 French thread. I was looking for a English thread for some forks but this caught my eye with the French style washer, so either way I would be happy. I didn’t know they came in French thread.
