Never have had one...removing a Campy NR headset...gotta have one. No cheating with a careful screwdriver like with a typical Japanese headset.
$20 version from Amazon. Same day shipping, gotta love it.

So that you know, the Cinelli cork ribbons had changed in design recently, since I think they started making them in Taiwan. They do not go on with a smooth profile anymore as the edges are not feathered as thin as they used to be, so you get a bumpy look and feel between each turn on the ribbon on the bar. Some may like tbe new feel and look because of the better grip you m8ght get when the bar is wet, but I personally do not like the looks of the new ribbon. Deda cork ribbon was suggested by some here as an alternative, if one wants the old look and feel of Cinelli cork ribbon.....

When I was looking to buy this box I noticed that a lot of the sellers had boxes that referred to "gel" tape. The old stuff never said anything about any gel so I was wondering if something had changed. In this case I didn't want change so I found a seller with the older style box. I don't know if the new box coincides with the change in the tape your talking about but I just opened my new stuff to look. It's the same as what I've used in the past, nice and thin on the edges. Thanks for the heads up, and the Deda recommendation. I'll try some of that for my next tape job.
And I always wonder why people cant just leave the good stuff alone...

Saint Christopher. I'm not a religious man, nor am I very superstitious, but I had a bit of a paint accident that needed resolution. And I do like traditions.

^^ Bravo! Where does tradition say it gets placed? Headtube, handle bar or top tube.

Star Wars wallpaper. Have enough to paper my entire garage now: one wall in ANH, one wall in ESB, and one wall in ROTJ.
And to keep it cycling-related, this beautiful Hinault poster came in earlier this week. It was going in my garage, but my GF likes it too much, so I have to get a frame for it and put it in the living room.

On the down tube, actually. And not because of tradition, but out of pure necessity. If you look carefully at this picture, you'll notice a blue Tressostar 'band-aid', just below the shifters. That's because a big chunk of paint is missing there. Something went horribly wrong with my paint job, and I need to redo it, but I also want to ride this bike next week and from 10+ ft it looks sort of OK.
So this will have to do for now:
