Carrying a bike on my scooter

It's not C&V, and the bike mounted isn't, either, but this is where I hang out.

This rack could fit on a motorcycle as well. As it is, the bike's about as big as my little scoot

How the rack looks on the scoot when you're not carrying the bike.

First step: click in the modified J-hooks

Then load in the bike and attach front, rear, and NDS pedal (not pictured).

Bungee cord the front wheel to the side and you're ready to roll. Takes all of a couple of minutes.

Pretty clever re-purposing of a surfboard rack, I like it! This looks mildly scary to me, but riding a scooter with a surfboard on the side would be insane!

That is way cool. Completely different than I envisioned, and much more logical.

As far as the surfboards on scooters, come to NC. Many of our surfers are local drywallers, roofers, blue-collar tradesmen.
Many are no longer able to drive legally, and the scooter is the next logical mode of transport. You often see two guys on the scooter, one holding the board.

Thanks for the pics. I've been thinking of doing something like this myself. I'm tired of riding the MTB on the road to reach the trailheads, but I don't want to deal with a second car. This would be perfect.
