There is a BSA folder for sale close by here for $400. It has been restored.

I'd like to be able to source the frame bag and rack......I have a couple of older MTB's that would love this look

The last BSA paratrooper bike I saw, make that the last several...have all sold over $1200 !
At $400, I'd be checking that out ASAP. Joe

The rear frame rack is an interesting piece of construction. The seatstays are actually detachable, like the seatstays of a Raleigh DL-1 roadster, and the rear rack is welded to these detachable seatstays. The front rack is attached to the frame on level with where canti posts *should be*(the actual canti posts are mounted on the back of the fork, these are mounted with Magura hydraulic rim brakes, since V-brakes didn't come out until after the MO93 entered service). The front rack itself is essentially a really beefy version of the front radonneur/passhunter rack Velo Orange sells. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7148/6...92554bbe_b.jpg This is apparently a civilian version that was sold, and you can see what was done at least for the front rack. |
