Big thanks goes out to the Boise Bike Project http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=268923 |
Welcome! you're off to a good start, that's a nice bike. It will be well appreciated here, there's a lot of suntour/fuji love around. Get well soon and enjoy the ride.

Nice Ride!
Welcome to the forum, too. I also have an '81 Fuji (S12-S Ltd.). Yeah, there's a bunch of Fuji love around here. |
Glad to see you here at C&V, you built a really nice Fuji, enjoy it. Hope the doctor's release comes for you soon. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, poster and CD. it can get old real fast.

Hope You're Riding Soon
Three vintage Fuji bikes here (that I ride regularly), plus a 1981 Special Tourer SE on the workstand right now for a friend, and a 1985 Sagres in the queue for refurb soon. Hoping that you're "cleared hot" to ride yours soonest. Phil G.

Thanks guys! Ya got my shoulder rebuilt after a dirt bike ran away with me on it, but things are on the mend. just weighed the bike came in a 24.6 lbs. Super excited on that. I was hoping for a sub 25 lb bike. My other being an 80's Schwinn world sport. The Fuji is A LOT lighter.

Welcome to the forum. Best thread title I've seen in a while. Nice bike.
|
Welcome to C&V. Great community here. Beautiful Fuji!
|
Looks like you've got a good combination of old and new going on there. I'll chime in with some of that Suntour love - I've got Mk II shifters/derailleurs on one of my favorites, and they work great (all the more so with a modern cassette). Scheming another Suntour-heavy build, too. Great stuff.
When I caught your username, prior to scrolling to the mention of a dirt bike incident, I was worried that the damage had been done in the pit... Best for a swift recovery. |
nice cycle..
looking good. |

He's a little ticked Pastrana is moving to the Dodge Dart. |
Welcome to the forums "neighbor"! Yes the Boise Bike Project does rock! You have done well with the Fuji. Oh and I've driven Subarus for the last twenty years...;-)
