Help with a Miyata One Twelve

Hi, I am new to this but was fortunate enough to get a Miyata one twelve frame for 50 bucks. I have been taking the time to get it rolling again granted I don't have the time or money to restore it to its original state, but I plan on styling it out and using it as a commuter. So far everything has been easy to come by but I can't seem to find a 7 speed downtube shifter anywhere online that isn't on ebay coming from Poland for way more than I want to spend. I know it was originally a six speed but I'm trying to make it a 7 speed. If anyone could point me in the right direction to finding a seven speed downtube friction/index shifter that would be awesome. Thanks for the help. Once the bike is finished I'll post some pictures

looks good. when you post the final pics, turn the bike around so we can see the drive side.

Sun Race has some cheap 7 speed shifters. eBay should have tons though.

lovely paint on that one. do a forum search on polishing aluminum, like seatposts, via automotive sandpaper (and mother's polish). worth every penny.

is it the westernized brain that wants to take photos of the left side of the bike before we realize the beauty in what we've left out? seems we all do it early on.
