Hi Guys here they are
1) Gary Fisher Marlin (anybody have any pics of one complete?)

2)Diamond Back Ascent(as above as I have not seen one complete)

3) Mystery Frame

Some people I have talked too have said they think Gary Fisher/Trek? I cam match the rear drop outs to a Baum Road bike but that all.

Any help at all here would be great! Thanks.

It was without wheels forks etc.

Hello is there anybody out there? Just nod if you can hear me, Is there anyone home?(love Pink Floyd)

Guys I really need to tap into the Knowledge on this site, this is a very interesting frame with lovely drop outs a type I have not seen on a MTB.
If I am wasting my time here please let me know, I am just trying to keep my motivation up as I am slacking a bit on this (White) frame as I would like to find out what it is to re sticker it.
Who ever thought recycling could be so much fun(Recycling on a bike again for a second time in my life and saving old bikes from certain death . . . .loving it)

There are fewer MTB people here than 10-speed people. Patience, padawan.

Have you checked the usual spots for a serial, or any other identifying marks?

The Fisher & the Diamondback seem pretty far gone. A lot of older MTB's were ridden pretty hard and there was a reason why they were discarded. Not that you can't salvage them, but it would be a whole lot of work and unless you just want to donate them to someone who needs a bike, I doubt that you could make much money of off them.

I don't know about the white frame, but it looks like it is in the best shape. It looks more modern as well. You can see an outline where the headbadge used to be. Look at some common headbadges like Trek and see if the shape fits. If it is a Trek you should be able to use their serial numbers to figure out what it is.

Good luck! I was in Auckland a couple years back. Beautiful city.

Hi RaleighSport I did find the serial number listed above and the only other thing that stands out is the rear drop outs pictured above. I have had some people in the cycle industry here in NZ look at it and they with their 20 and in some cases 30 years experience are still scratching their heads, it has created a bit of confusion as has my Extreme Chaos in another thread. I seem to be attracting Enigma type bikes?! I do love the oddball stuff.
Should I be posting this frame and the Extreme Chaos in the MTB section? They seem a bit too old?
Thank you guys for the responses guys I am having to get rid of a few bikes and am quietly trying to figure out what they will be.

The frame looks very Trek to me, and was just said perhaps check against known head badges?
