Brake hoods replacement.

I sport Shimano 600 non aero brake levers on my bike with hoods in pretty bad condition. The price for set of NOS, or as new brake hoods (Shimano 600) is a bit too much for me to spend, and I'm looking at some decent alternatives.

Anyone using these? They seem pretty cheap and look-alike my hoods. Any other brand/type I should be aware of? Do these fit at all?

These are mine:

I have the Cane Creek hoods on Arabesque 600 levers- they fit fine. I had to trim a bit from the underside of the hood- so the lever had full travel rearwards. Two clips with a wire cutter.

I have also used them on the drilled Z series lever, they fit fine.

I just fit Dia Compe 204 hoods on my 600EX levers and they look to fit just fine

By the way- I had to work the mirror stem into the cable hole of the hood- that's the only reason it appears to flare out- it doesn't do that on the non-mirror side.
