Price Check On Some Cannondale Panniers, Please

Well, I'm starting to liquidate unused items from my life to make things a little more manageable. Plus, things at work are not looking good and it's a distinct possibility that I'll lose my job sometime early next year, so, any money I come across now goes into savings just in case. So, I'm going to list some panniers on the 'bay or CL and I don't know what to set the price at. A little help would be appreciated.

I have a full set of Cannondale panniers including the rear Overlands, the matching front panniers, the rear trunk bag and I believe I have the matching front handlebar bag as well (it's the one that had a recall, but I had that taken car of by Cannondale). They are black in color and have never been used (at least I haven't used them and I believe some of them still have the tag on them). There are no boxes, though.

Here is a photo to give you an idea.

I don't know but that's quite a setup.

At one time I think I had for or five sets of Overlands. I still have a set on a commuter (Giant Seek 2) plus these. About three years ago I put a NOS set of Overlands on a Specialized Hard Rock Pro I had set up as a commuter and three days later the whole thing was stolen. I was not happy.

My hunch is at least $150+ for the entire set. On ebay you might do better listing them as seperate pairs. But I'm no expert.

I was happy to pay $75 for an older (like 1985) set of Overlands in fantastic shape.

That $150 sounds like a good package.

Here's a vintage set, with racks, that went for $308 on ebay a few weeks ago.

I think the vintage bags might go for more, and the racks surely bumped the price up.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.

You'd be well justified in asking $200 for the set (and then accepting reasonable offers?). But, $150 might be a real nice deal for all parties. Depending on your location, you might simply try the local CL...
