Did you get it?

If not, please let me know telepathetically ASAP, this is important.

I tried to get you but I don't have a land line.

RobE30 09-29-12 07:18 PM

I tried to reply but the phone company no longer recognizes rotary phones.

Speaking of which, we still have one. It's amusing when our son has friends over, they want to use the phone and can't figure it out.

I think the post office lost it

sailorbenjamin 09-29-12 09:32 PM

You've got money!

sailorbenjamin 09-29-12 09:35 PM

We saw an older telephone the other day, me and my 6 year old daughter. It had a cord on it and she asked me what it was for. I told her it was to connect the phone to the wall. She didn't understand why anyone would want to connect their phone to a wall. What if you wanted to go to the grocery store or something?

IthaDan 09-29-12 09:47 PM

My primary home office phone is a black rotary from the 50s/60s. They're great and run forever. Actually, our current phone system does recognize them, but my previous one did not.

There have been a bunch of studies lately on the dwindling of land line phones. It was surprising to me how fast it's happening.

I did, and the answer is Yes, you can buy the old neon yellow Murray girl's frame for $100 plus shipping. It does have horizontal dropouts so the fixie project should go smoothly.

No - I don't know where your wife is, and I'm not giving back the dog.
