Hey guys, I appreciate all the extra information, but given this is an international forum, could we do this in English please? Otherwise no more than 0,00002% of the audience will be able to read this ...
Thanks.

Thanks.

Circa 58 RIH Sports
Firstly I am new to this forum and find the site extremely difficult to navigate. So if I am in the wrong place so be it. I like riding old bikes not trying to work out web sites.
This is my 1958 RIH Sports Serial No. 5632. I found the frame in a garage where it had been for 30 years. The owner who had had it from 1963 had it repainted in 1979 so do not know if this is the original colour.
he raced it from 1963 to 1984 when it was replaced with a Daccordi. I have chased bits up from around the world so hope that they are correct or close to it.
The bike rides really well. regards Rob Harcourt Queensland Australia

The paint may not be original, but metallic green was one of the popular RIH colors.
I wouldn't mind a lot more pictures of this machine. Especially a drive side shot of the full bike would be very welcome!

Hello Rob, if you're on a Windows PC, and want to upload from there, one easy way to get small enough picture files is to follow this instruction.
If you are trying to link to a picture hosting site like flickr, don't forget to uncheck the box next to 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally'.
Alternatively, e-mail the files to nonfixieATgmailDOTcom, and I'll be more than happy to put them up for you.

Took some months to find all the parts:)
So it took me some time to post on this forum. I am from Amsterdam and love RIH bikes. This one is made in 1968 for a former professional rider. In the new RIH Amsterdam they are very helpful with finding information on the original build. The picture is taken with material from the former shop at the Westerstraat.

Looks good! Thanks for posting it here. What's the serial number? I'd like to add it to 'the list'.

Hey, my name is Pierre. I want to bring an old "Super Course" from 1965 back to life. Previously the frame was red, unfortunately he was then painted in white/blue (I am very sorry about that). So far I have not found the right decals. (see example: https://www.flickr.com/photos/412842...57632667787779) Can someone help me with the decals? Also I am interested on the right color number (RAL-number would be grateful). Even the bike stands at my parents house. I will report later about the project here. Many thanks and best wishes Pierre

I found someone you can print the decals, they cost for the printing file about 85 Euro and per set 29 Euro.
Maybe if 10 persons take a set the price with about 37,50 Euro will be okay.

Hello Pierre Very Nice super course.
There are many places that have decals. have you tried the RIH shop in Amsterdam?
If they don't have it try ebay, there's a seller in the UK who has other dutch decals, H. Lloyd in the UK might also have them.

also look up VeloCals here, he is a decal maker and has quite a back stock.
I've used his decals and they are very high quality....
Oh yeah forgot, Welcome to Forums and C&V.
Where are you located? that might help others recommend a source for decals.

Thank you for your welcome!
I am from Germany. I am planning the restoration of the bicycle my uncle. He an my father drove races in 1967 - 1975.
Unfortunately I didn't get the 1967 Hugo Rickert of my father to rebuild.

I'm sure the Dutch contingent will be on this thread shortly will a lot of advice.
There's a member of Classic Rendezvous who raced for Rickert and lived with the Rickerts while
he was in Germany. I think he might have raced for Rickert before your father.

Hello, @PierreSeb, welcome to the forum! Sorry about the Rickert, but with a 1965 Super Course you're still rich
.
Do you have any pictures of your bike? A serial number too, would be most welcome to help date other RIHs.
And with regard to the decals: if you're having them made, I'd be interested in a set.
The bike in your link looks to be a Fongers-made RIH (111T?). They were often red. I'm not sure if it's the same color that was used by the Amsterdam shop.
I have a red '68 Fongers RIH that I could take to a paint shop and see if they can match it to a RAL code. It is a little faded though, so I'm not really sure if that would work.

Hello @non-fixie,
thank you for that warm welcome!
I am sorry but I can't send Pictures yet. It will take some time until I can pick up the bike.
Because of the decals, I found some site in Russia. He didn't send to Germany, but the design is good

Hi, nice thread! I still own a RIH Luxe race bike, bought on may 1[SUP]st[/SUP] 1982. Bought it from Brunnekreef in Hengelo, Holland for 1198 guilders. I still have a coupon for a free checkup after 6 months :-) Frame number is 8453 (located on the pedal crank housing). It’s been sitting on the wall of my garages for quite some time, so will need some servicing when I will start using it again.
A colleague brought this page to my attention: De mannen van staal | Cinecrowd and I made a contribution. I think I will have to go the premiere on my RIH….
I only have this bad picture at the moment.
I also have the original receipt:
