Whats with the stem height? I hope u have enough of the stem in the fork. If u don't it could get ugly.

This was my summer project that was officially rideable on the last day of summer (9/21). Notice how i didn't say "finished" because are our bikes ever "finished"? '92 Trek 400 built up with tricolor 600, my new daily driver.

Thanks for the kind words and the concern, but it's an extra tall Nitto stem, so it was at least half an inch below the "not safe" line. It's also lower now. This photo was from day one setup before adjustments. It's also now got a BBM-approved Selle San Marco Regal.

Nice one!

Look's extremely cool against that backdrop. Hard to tell, but does this bike only have one crankring? I'm a drop bar guy, but I even like the flat bars you chose for this ride. Is this pic in Queen's somewhere? I don't recognize it, but I'd love to take some pics of my bikes against it.

Thank you!

Yup, it's set up as a 1x8. Also the wall is right on the border of Brooklyn (Bushwick) and Queens (Ridgewood). Johnson and Gardner, to be exact.

I know exactly where that is. I was born and raised in Ridgewood and live right next door in Glendale now.

I'll be looking for your nice white Trek on my rides around the neighborhood!

Newly rebuilt 72ish Motobecane Grand Record. 90% done... still have some decal work to do and the lugs are getting an outline pinstripe at some point. All original components, hubs, etc.

Finally got mine done! Pretty basic, but hey, my first build. Started as a black Bianchi with cracked hubs and old rims and a mashed paint job. Cleaned every part, reoiled/greased, repainted, built the wheels from scratch (that was actually really fun) and threw some parts that fit me better on there. Like I said, nothing to massively oogle over, but I'm proud of my work. .

Sorry Paul, I only just noticed your question. It's a 65 cm frame. It's a comfortable French fit, and quite a contrast to my SO's 50cm Brands.

White....yup....mid 70's Schwinn Suburban, got as part of a deal, cleaning up and getting back on the road the owner's 79 KIA roadbike and got the Suburban 5speed as pay. Not quite my style, but someone will want it once IT is cleaned up and rolling again.

I haven't taken posession yet...but this is incoming. I have the correct brakes on my Merckx (I have no idea why) and the other parts will be moving over from another bike. The only thing I won't have is the original panto stem...I'll have to use a Cinelli panto.

I know I'll hate myself for having to ask - but what is this beautiful bike?

I can't place that head badge...

Thank you kind sir! It's really just an SLX De Rosa with some cool panto and pretty paint, but this was THE wish list steel bike when I grew up. My friend/riding buddy had the 87' Signature (similar, silver).

There are so few of these out and about.

Gorgeous.

Congrats.

My Professional is a great climber and the best bicycle I own on a fast descent.

I miss my 35th Anniversario a bit though!

Thanks Grady - I'm looking forward to this one! I knew having the De Rosa panto delta would work out.

This is likely predominantly a wall hanger given the other De Rosas and the c-record.

KonAaron, that DeRosa is absolutely sick. I have 2 bike left on my bucket list and the DeRosa is one of them.
