Hello, I have a 88 Schwinn World Sport that i picked up a few weeks ago for 50$. it has Shimano SIS front and rear derailleurs, sugino mp crank, star brakes and araya aluminum rims. The bike needed a front tire and tape and of corse a cleaning when i got it.
What do you think?

i had an 86 world sport for awhile and it was a joy to ride - have never been disappointed with any of the old schwinns i rode
i like the two tone color scheme - for 50 you done real good

I ride a heavily modified 86 World Sport as a commuter. Mine was made by Giant in Taiwan and they made a good frame.

I believe this frame was also made by Giant. I like it nice strong lugged frame. And yes its just the right size im 6 1 so it was hard to find a used road bike that fit me.
