Welcome to the Bike Forums.

Let's start by figuring out when the bike was made. Take a look at How Old Is My Bicycle? and apply what you learn there. You should be able to determine when the bike was made.

Armed with that information, compare what you have to what is displayed on Cycles Peugeot page...

Based on the resin pedals, what appears to be a plastic coated, steel crankset and continuous loop stays, it is entry level. The U-brakes place it very modern, probably around the turn of the century. Close-up pictures of the major components would be a big help. You can't identify much from a non-drive side picture.
