When I was in my late teens the lbs we frequented in Spokane WA sold Olmo and Peugeot road bikes. I always drooled over the pearl white Olmo's from the mid-80's. Having an Olmo is one of my goals someday. I don't see alot posted here about the brand - every few months someone may post about one they have or one that's for sale - but it's not very often.

So, in the meantime, can you post some photos of your Olmo?

** Gees, and then I screw up the spelling of thread in the title

Here's Lilly's Jr. OLMO. Just realized I haven't taken any nice drive-side "glamour" shots of this sweet little guy yet. I'll have to fix that Decals and paint are in it's future, so I'm looking forward to seeing some paint schemes on other OLMOs too.

andy-that bikes screaming to be a nice deep red wine burgundy color!
I have heard nickel plating is possible for the DIY, look really sweet with some chrome drops or lugs.

The second one-- and I still have the frame-- is an Olmo Leader. I have never seen another one of these come up on the forums. In fact, it used to be that if you googled "Olmo Leader" you pretty much only get my thread

Great looking Olmos. I just bought my second Olmo up in Santa Barbara a few months ago. My first one ended up being parted out by the buyer. My latest find will not suffer the same fate as I'm having it placed in the crypt next to me. Here are a
few pics.

The prices for used steel Olmo's seem fairly strong. But I always got the sense they didn't have the same appeal as other Italian makes. Is that just because you don't see that many or ......?
