They probably wouldn't of wanted me to be on the cleanup crew, though. I would of been sorting and putting certain bikes into the back of my truck. Shame that a lot of good bike gear was probably scrapped.

I've got four and am debating a downsize.

(box up vintage components, store vintage components in a safe place, move modern group to vintage frame, sell modern frame, enjoy the stares as I ride a $100 tange 1000 frame with a carbon fork and carbon record groupset)

I can't see any reason to have a bike I don't ride. For that reason I have 2 personal bikes. One 'nice' bike for distance and speed and one commuter/park anywhere bike that is also setup for carrying kids/gear. I might go to 4 bikes if my wife wasn't so concerned about not spending cash...

I think he should of coordinated them by color, rainbow style

ROYGBV

RED ORANGE YELLOW, GREEN BLUE VIOLET

It would look more pleasing to the eye.

Get as close as you can (from the Velominati Rules):

Rule #12// The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.

While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

The authorities consider anything more than 15 bikes as hoarding? Good, I've only got six right now, may have #7 by lunchtime today. All mine are rideable, and get ridden on a regular basis when I don't have them up on the workstand.
