Another scam bike.

Nice Moto, but I'd stay clear of this one. That Fresno Freak again?

A Motobecane from Italy with Huret parts!

Obviously, the seller flunked geography and language, probably not even a GED.

There are some tasty and high value parts in those photos, including the Huret Jubilee RD, Stronglight crankset, and Ideale saddle. But those levers look like DiaCompe, definitely un-French.

be fun to pull a sting on this guy,

If a local contacted ebay and the local police...

ask seller if he accepts a wire transfer to western union and be waiting for him with the fuzz.

this could be a fun C&V challange!

In lieu of that, let's bombard him with nasty emails. Geeze, didn't he just try this a few days ago with Aixaix's bike?

Yeah. I think that's the hoped for result. Might fool one sucker and make a few hundred bucks.

I flagged the auction too. Let's see how long it takes them to take down this one. Seems like they ought to ban that guy's user name now.

it would be more fun to sting the guy.

We would have some real entertainment!

lets think again,
what is the most fun we could do with him next time?

buy a bike so he has to pay the listing fee but never pay for it?
then tell Ebay that it is a proven scammer?

there is got to be a way to have more fun with they guy.

Naw, they NEED bees in Fresno!
What they don't need is another petty criminal: Fresno was #314 in crime ratings for all US cities in 2011, not the top crime city in Calif. (beat out by Oakland, Richmond, Vallejo and San Berdoo) but it's on the climb (with a bullet!).

Same, I reported him.
I had considered asking him a couple of "innocent" questions, such as "You mention that the saddle is a Brooks and that the brakes are Universal 68, but it would appear from the photos that they are actually Ideale and Weinmann, respectively. Can you clarify? Also, can you please take a picture of the underside of the bottom bracket shell? Thanks!"... just to see what he says. I decided not to do anything other than report him.

I think a sting would be fun!
