Yellow Bianchi

I have recently purchased a Bianchi frame from Europe. It is definitely late 80's to early 90's, but it is yellow with purple stickers. The top sticker says Bianchi 603. I have never seen one before, and everyone I have asked in the US is stumped. Any ideas? I would like to know so I can put the appropriate parts on it. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lets think about this for a second OK? "I have recently purchased a Bianchi frame from Europe". Bianchi bikes, as well as most other brands, are different here in the US (and Canada) from the rest of the world, so it is not suprising no one has heard of it. Since '85 all Bianchis sold in the US are designed and imported by Bianchi USA.

Is "Bianchi 603" the only thing on it? Any other name like Vento or Caracus? If you knew the frame material and the level of components that came on it we could possibly figure out a equivelant US model and year. Any pics? Is it lugged or tig? Lugged would likely make it older than '95ish. I have a Bianchi frame labeled Vento 603 which near as I can tell is something like a '94/5ish Campione de Italia level frame.

FWIW, a quick google for Bianchi 603 brings up some hits for a lugged steel frame with Campagnolo Avanti (non-Ergo). So, penfing pics and more info, I''m thinking a mid-1990s, entry level model.
