Details

I would imagine most of you here that have kept certain bikes for years know every millimeter of them down to the tiny chips and small scratches.

Then, there are those little details you simply love about the frame, the components. Well, I'd like to see them.

I like stories, too :)

Distinctive ca. 1960 Capo lugwork. The sloping fork crown is pretty nice too, but certainly not unique.

Well, I know you've all seen this one a million times but it's my favorite picture of my favorite bike. I'm almost done with the umpteenth facelift and It's almost perfect. We're up to 7 speeds in the rear with new shifters and a fully functional LED light set up built into period correct, matching patina light housings. I'll post it all when I get it all sorted out.

The way the exposed chrome on the drive-side chain-stay is masked off and outlined instead of just exposing the full half or quarter stay on my 60's Patelli.

Clamps secure stems as well or better than those new-fangled quill stems they recently tried out.

That's a real beauty, M.A.
I like the fork crown on this too. Kind of surprised myself that I haven't gone in there and touched up that gold paint but sometimes I have to force myself to leave well enough alone.
