Apollo Custom Sport - Ishiwata Magny V - seat post size
A friend, who does not live locally, needs to know what size seat post will fit an Apollo Custom Sport sporting Ishiwata Magny V tubing. I think the seat post size is 26.4mm but I do want to be sure before I send him a seat post.
If anyone knows the seat post size for the bike, please let me know so that I can give my buddy a hand getting his bike on the road.

According to my literature, Magny V used a single butted 1.0/0.7mm seat tube. That means it should have a theoretical inside diamter of 27.2mm at the post end and a 27.0mm post should be correct. A 26.4mm post would be correct only if the seat tube was installed upside dow or maybe you thought it was a double butted seat tube?
