Schwinn's, 2 for $40.00
Nothing special for sure, but the winter project is in.
One is a World Sport made by Giant. The other is a bit of a mystery. I'm thinking an '84 Le Tour or Super LeTour based on the serial number-SE405571. Any thoughts? Drop-outs are forged, frame made in USA (Mississippi?) 4130 stays and double butted main tubes, tabs for racks front and rear, kick stand plate (yea!). https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/--...0/IMG_3152.JPG https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-d...0/IMG_3153.JPG https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-u...2/IMG_3154.JPG https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-C...0/IMG_3159.JPG https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-N...0/IMG_3158.JPG |

With the rack braze-ons, it looks like a Le Tour Luxe in champagne:

+1 Le Tour Luxe, I had one, nice bike!

Thanks for the corrected ID. I agree on further review. Looking forward to the build.

Le Tour Luxe ,the plate on the rear dropout , the single braze on for downtube shifter , and color are all like a smaller frame I have from that year , and the only reason I know mine's a Le Tour Luxe is that the lettering left an unoxidised paint area under it when the lettering inevitably fell off . I have an 87 Passage in my size (Huge) and it's a great bike .
