Huret Multito

I was given a Huret Multito. You know, one of those mileage counters that mount at the fork dropout. I would like to reset it to "0". Both the trip mileage and also the total mileage.

Does anyone know how to do that?

Chuck it in a drill and have a beer.

To reset the trip counter you just need to turn the knob and it will reset. You are not able to reset the total odometer except if you want to use the drill method.

Are these desirable?

I have a couple because they are period correct for a couple of my bikes. I like them because they are virtually silent and don't require batteries. The old odometers with the pin the turns the cog wheel could be annoying as they clicked.

If you ride with it long enough it will reset itself.
