I would think so. No intricate handwork here. This would already have been been regarded as way over the top in the Calvinistic post-WWII Netherlands.

Yes, I think so and I'm very pleased you see it but since going at it with great gusto, cleaning it all up, rust-proofing inside the tubes, tweaking the drop out and fork end alignment a couple of millimetres, polishing it and getting all the parts it needs, it's stood behind the sofa for 6 months waiting for me to build and ride. All I have to do is work out spoke length and build the wheels and the rest won't take more than half a day. There's something wrong with me...

Well.... it should be "on" or "in front of" the sofa, but other than that, I see no problem.
