December 28, the last nice warm day of the year, I rode about 110 miles round eastern Long Island.

Seals are known to sleep on the beach this time of year, so I walked over the dunes to look at the beach several times. I did not see any seals.

Would you settle for a "metric century a month" participant? I ride at least one metric almost every month and often 2-3 of them, but it's difficult finding time for a full century. Plus none of my friends ride centuries, so doing so would likely be a solo effort.
