Half the fun will be trying to identify it under the rattle job! (Turns out to be a Viscount)
Cable stops are ground off.
Welded not lugged, then sanded smooth.
Serial is on BB and is 643938
Frame bare weighs about 5lbs

Got a gift certificate to my favorite LBS, asked the owner how much he said exactly the amount the certificate was for.. and she became mine.
No idea I haven't checked for serials or weighed it yet, but the frameset it self is light compared to most junkers so I'll be curious to tell you if it is.

5 and 3/4 lbs with BB headset and seatpost binder bolt installed, tubing must be something I like! Serial is located on the BB 643938, unable to distinguish the dropouts underneath the gold rattle so far, welded not lugged.

BB seems to be standard english threading (there is currently a kuwurama BB in there), Seatpost seems to be 26.2, it doesn't seem to be french to me but I know next to nothing about those bikes.
